2017 French Oak Kriek
Barrel-Aged Sour

A complex, funky drinking experience almost 4 years in the making. A malty, Flemish red that was fermented with brettanomyces, lacto, and pedio yeasts in one of our used French oak barrels and then blended with fresh cherries. Moderate acidity with notes of red wine, dried prunes, figs, and oak.

This pale ale is brewed with boysenberry which is added in two different parts of the brewing process. The first installment is in the kettle during the boil, and the second is in the fermenter.
